Well, that’s pretty much it. After the chequered flag falls in Interlagos tomorrow, that’s the end of the 2012 Motorsport season for us, and what a year it’s been! We’ve both really enjoyed the year, which started out way back in January at the Autosport International, an has since led us all over the UK and parts of Europe, and given us the opportunity to work with some awesome drivers.
We’ve been fortunate enough to work with drivers in several series, ranging from Formula Renault BARC, through to International GT Open, and back to single seaters with Formula 2. We’ve made some real strides forwards with the social prescene and websites for everyone involved, and it’s already been proven to make a huge difference.
Our favourite site of the year: Ash Miller Motorsport Ash came to us in May having recently moved to the UK with the goal of getting a clean, simple and fresh site together in a short time frame. The site ended up coming out really well, and showcased Ash in the light he deserved!
Our favourite social performance of the year: This one has been a close one, but when all is said and done, our work with Formula 2 driver Dino Zamparelli has been incredible. Dino’s social presence has more than quadrupled (actually, it’s increased by 10x!) and taken him to new heights, as well as benefiting all sponsors involved.
Our breakthrough drive of the year: We’ve been helping Jack Dex out for a year or so now, and he’s always been one of the hardest working drivers around. At the final round of the Formula Renault BARC season which took place at Silverstone in October, Jack came back from 4 months out of the car, and took his best ever result – a 6th place finish. An awesome drive, that’s what happens when you’ve got a 5G logo on the car!
That’s all for 2012, 2013 looks to be even bigger and better.
